Now we look to strengthen our rehoming capability, in part by providing long-serving and dedicated volunteers with better facilities to enable them to help more hens.
Lorna based in Scotland (and who features in our Christmas Appeal) is such a great example; having volunteered for 8 years and wanting only to do more to help, we have provided her with a double stable block so she can rehome more hens, have better storage facilities and generally give more of her precious volunteering support to help hens.
I want you to be aware too that the charity safeguards all its investments in such a way that benefits both the charity and host, so your donations are carefully used, and sensitively protected.
