Thanks to our digital fundraisers
We all love to do our bit for charity, but times are tight and so often we find ourselves without the capacity or resources to do as much as we’d like.
That’s why digital fundraising platforms like easy fundraising and Give As You Live are such great ways of donating to a charity you love for free.
Simply sign up to either and shop as normal and the retailers you use will donate to your chosen charity (us, please!) at no extra cost to you. Our founder, Jane, uses easyfundraising and wanted to let you know that if she can do it, you can do it!
Since 2022 our digital fundraisers have raised £2,000 to help hens, just by shopping! Will you join them?

We’re very happy to share that our new rehoming centre in Preston, funded by a generous grant from the Pets at Home Foundation, has hosted its first rehoming event!
Work was completed in spring just as Avian Flu restrictions lifted, and the inaugural rehoming took place in sunny May when 288 lucky hens found new homes.
Huge thanks to our Lancashire site coordinator, Simon Dagger, and his team for all their hard work and to the Pets at Home Foundation for funding this vital project and for their continued support of the BHWT.
