| Our Story | Egg Clubber Elise On Track For Her £500 Target |
In a normal year we continue to rehome hens all through the winter. This year the arrival of Avian Influenza and the Government housing order meant we had to stop rehoming mid-December.
Our grand total stands at 862,467 hens saved from slaughter so we should hit our next milestone of 900,000 hens by the end of 2022. Our hens’ popularity remains as high as ever with over 12,000 lucky hens booked for when we started rehoming again at the end of February.
Calling all volunteers!
Did you know we’re looking for volunteers across our 45 adoption sites?
We need people who want to make a real difference to the lives of hens.
But we can’t do it alone, we need your help. Take a look at our volunteer vacancies at bhwt.org.uk/get-involved/volunteer/
