BHWT Team Oxford holds its 100th rehoming

There’s nothing we love more than celebrating our successes, so we’re delighted to bring you news that our Oxford volunteers held their 100th rehoming in Didcot in August!

Between them Team Oxford have helped over 19,000 lucky hens off to their retirement homes.

Lucia Singer, who has been our Oxford Co-ordinator since the first adoption day 10 years ago, told us: “It is lovely to spend a day doing something completely different to what you usually do which is worthy and fun, and with people whose company you value.

“I love the feeling of practical, hands-on usefulness. It's amazing to think we have given more than 19,000 birds a second chance at life. That feels good!”
