Making a Will is often something we push down the priority list, but one thing’s for certain – we want to make sure that whatever we leave behind ends up going in the right direction.

Most of us will take care of our friends and family first and foremost, but did you know you can leave just 1% of your estate to charity, with 99% going to your loved ones?

It’s simple to have your Will divided up this way and doing so means you leave the vast majority to your nearest and dearest, yet at the same time you support a charity that matters to you.

Kylie, our Individual Giving Manager, has left a gift in her Will. She said: “When I made my Will, I wanted to make sure my family were looked after using the majority of my estate whilst leaving a small percentage to my favourite charity.
