Positively perfect fundraising!

When 11-year-old Georgie was assigned a positive advocacy project at school she knew right away what she wanted to speak up about - her rehomed hens!

So she got busy planning a coffee morning with her favourite chickens display at her local cricket pavilion, taking orders for delicious bakes from friends and family. Georgie set out to raise £100 and speak to as many people as she could about her flock as well as why the work the BHWT does is so important to her. When the takings were totted up, she’d raised a mouthwatering £405!
