“Forever grateful and privileged”

Finally, a huge thanks to Peter and Tina, who visited recently to tell us about their much-loved neighbour Alan Webster who left a generous legacy that helped build Hen Central.

Alan Webster’s love of chickens came to the fore when asked to care for a neighbour’s birds. One, named Little Chick, shared his sofa and enjoyed life immensely as Alan’s much-loved pet. Peter and Tina encouraged Alan to leave a legacy that meant something to him, and it was a local solicitor who directed Alan to the British Hen Welfare Trust. Leaving a legacy is such an enduring way to make a difference, and we are forever grateful and privileged to receive the ultimate gift of trust.
