Will you give a poorly hen the best chance this Christmas?

All the hens we help deserve the chance at a happy future and once we collect them from farms, it’s our responsibility to help them no matter what. Whilst hen husbandry has vastly improved, it’s inevitable that some hens reach us with health issues and in these cases, we offer special care until they are well and ready to be adopted.

This care comes from dedicated volunteers – our poorly carers – who have the knowledge and experience to help, as well as vets skilled in hen welfare. Just like any other pet in need of care, we do all we can to help them. Will you help them too?

Your support will ensure that our poorly carers have the right equipment to treat hens in need of extra care. Equipment such as heat lamps to give vital warmth and cosy crates to house hens that need a safe space to rehabilitate. Your donation will also help cover the cost of life-saving vet treatment and provide medication whilst hens are being looked after by carers.
